Starting today, August 23, 2010, I have begun a new project which I hope will challenge me, inspire me, test my creativity, and help to improve my photography skills. I also hope that you will follow along with me as I begin my "365 Days of Photos" project.

Portraits

I have been doing more work with portraits lately. Honing my skills at them since this is the direction that my heart and camera have decided to take me on this stage of my art growth. Working towards making portraiture my career.
I still take photos of other things, like flowers, landscapes and animals, especially since right now I don't have many willing human models. But practice is practice right?
So here are just a few shots of the many that I have taken over the past few months, so this post is pretty heavy on the photos :-)

And finally,,the front and back of the postcard I have been working on to use when I am ready to begin marketing my fledgling business...what do you think?

Those are all such beautifully done photos Cathy...even the gross spider lol. Your son and grandson are both very handsome.
I have a good feeling about what you are doing, and your postcard is absolutely perfect. Love the front and the wording on the back will make parents feel good about having you take the photos. God Bless and may you have an exciting and prosperous career.
